Simple Mint Syrup Recipe

- 1 cup roughly chopped mint leaves
- 1 cup granulated sugar OR 1/4 cup honey
- 1 cup water
- Boil water and sugar.
- Add mint leaves and simmer on low for 15 minutes.
- Remove the leaves from the syrup and discard them.
- Store the mint syrup in the fridge in a sealed jar for up to 1 month.
- To Make Mint Iced Tea:
- Add 1/2 cup of mint syrup per 2 quarts brewed iced tea, or to taste. Stir well and serve.
