Homestead Decor: DIY Chicken Wire Frame
Ingredients
- Scraps of old chicken wire
- Old wooden picture frame (any size)
- Paint (optional)
- Sandpaper (optional)
- Staple gun and staples (like this)
- Wire cutting tool (like this)
Instructions
- Remove everything from the frame (glass, backing, picture, etc)
- Optional: paint your frame with a light coat of paint, then once it dries, lightly sandpaper to give an aged look. Try rubbing a small amount of wood stain over the top of paint for a “distressed” flair
- Cut chicken wire roughly the size of frame
- Staple to the back of the frame and trim if needed
