Ingredients
  • 2 cups tomato sauce (or one 14.5 oz can)
  • 1 can (6 oz) of tomato paste
  • ⅓ cup apple cider vinegar
  • ¼ cup real maple syrup
  • ¼ cup molasses
  • 2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce

  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1 teaspoon dijon mustard
  • ½ teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

  • ⅛ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional-- use only if you want a kick)
Instructions
  1. Combine all ingredients in a medium saucepan, and bring to a simmer over medium heat.
  2. Continue to mix and simmer for 10-15 minutes so all the ingredients can meld together.
  3. Transfer to a jar and store in the refrigerator for up to several weeks. You can also freeze it for longer storage.
